Overview
Foundaro is a structured operating system for founders. It combines idea discovery, a five-phase development workflow, AI-assisted research, and workspace-specific tools for building and growing new businesses.
The product is organized around modules such as Discovery, Development, Launch, People, and Continuity. Most day-to-day work happens in the Development module, where each project moves through Clarity, Proof, Construction, Stability, and Expansion.
Getting Started
A simple starting sequence:
- ›Create or import a project.
- ›Use Clarity to define the problem, customer, market, and positioning.
- ›Use Proof to validate assumptions before building.
- ›Move into Construction only once the strongest unknowns are reduced.
- ›After launch, use Stability and Expansion to improve reliability and scale deliberately.
Core Concepts
Projects
A project is the core unit of work. Each project has a summary page and detailed phase workspaces.
Phases
The five phases are designed to reduce premature building, improve decision quality, and keep execution grounded in evidence.
Module Workspaces
Each module focuses on a different part of the business. Development is for building the business model and product, while Launch, People, and Continuity support adjacent operating needs.
Discovery Module
Discovery helps turn rough ideas into structured opportunities. You can generate AI-assisted ideas, compare directions, and promote the best candidates into the Development workflow.
- ›Explore multiple business model angles from one problem statement.
- ›Save discovery history for later comparison.
- ›Promote promising ideas directly into the project pipeline.
5-Stage Framework
- Clarity: define the problem, customer, market, differentiation, demand, pricing, and risk.
- Proof: validate assumptions through tests, interviews, and evidence tracking.
- Construction: define scope, manage build execution, and plan releases.
- Stability: track reliability, customer health, issues, metrics, and post-launch experiments.
- Expansion: refine positioning, channels, pricing, and growth bets once the core is working.
Each phase now has a dedicated public guide under Docs.
Dashboard & Workspace
The Development dashboard is the main board view for projects. From there you can move work across phases, filter your pipeline, and open each project workspace.
Project workspaces now contain deeper tools than simple notes. Depending on the phase, you can manage financials, competitor analysis, validation evidence, scope, releases, customer health, incidents, runbooks, channel playbooks, and more.
AI Tools
Foundaro uses AI to accelerate research, drafting, and synthesis. These tools are contextual and work from project data when available.
- ›Discovery idea generation
- ›Competitor research and “How to Win” support
- ›Interview and evidence synthesis
- ›Document drafting across multiple modules
Docs
The new Docs section provides phase-by-phase public guides for Clarity, Proof, Construction, Stability, and Expansion.
Inside the app, many workspaces also support editable document generation and export. Use those for working artifacts. Use the public docs for explanation and reference.

Collaboration & Sharing
Projects support comments, project sharing, and public snapshots where appropriate. This makes it easier to review ideas, preserve decision history, and share specific work externally.
The app also includes dedicated workspaces beyond Development for Launch, People, and Continuity, each with their own phased structure and document flows.
Plans & Billing
Foundaro offers multiple plans with different usage and feature limits. Billing is handled through Stripe, and active subscribers can manage their plan from account settings.
